All kinds of “crazy” – Steven Tyler is back in the game in a big way and we can’t get enough of him!
Along with his duties as a judge on Fox’s hit show American Idol,
last week Steven announced (to his fans worldwide), his autobiography “Does the Noise In My Head Bother You?” is now on book shelves and ready for reading…Ok, awesome…we love this!

Cut to a new week and NOW his hot new single debuted and he’s working on another
album! Talk about multitasking…this is crazy…and again we LOVE it!

The world premiere of his new single, “It Feels So Good” took
place Monday morning (5/09) on the “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” radio show.
There, Steven dished that it only took him three hours to write the
song, which he conveniently did so at the pool at the Sunset Marquis
hotel in Los Angeles.

But the bigger news regarding his single is…Steven will be debuting its video on American Idol Thursday May 12th and if you can’t until then, it will be available for purchase on iTunes Tuesday May 10th.

In addition to Steven’s new single, he’s also working on an upcoming album with Aerosmith that promises to bring back the screaming contagious sound that we all loved so much. We just can’t get enough of one of the most fun and fabulous Dadz In The Mix – Steven Tyler!!

Make sure to catch American Idol Wednesday and Thursday nights only on Fox.

That’s right, the “Clueless” star gave birth to her baby boy with husband Christopher Jarecki on May 5, 2011.
Now this is the best part of the story, Alicia (34) and her husband; Christopher Jerecki, (who is 40 and lead singer for the political noise punk rock band S.T.U.N. – Scream Towards the Uprising of Noncomformity), named their little bundle of joy Bear Blu!
Alicia did not give any explanation about the name choice of her brand new son but we here at Momz In The Mix think that the name is fantastic and requires no explanation.

I mean who doesn’t love a little craziness? After all, American Idol’s Steven Tyler wasn’t “clueless” when he cast Alicia for Aerosmith!

Remember back in the day when Alicia was Aerosmith’s “Crazy” girl, then their “Crying” girl and finally wrapped up their trilogy by being their “Amazing” girl!
FYI: Yet another reason to LOVE Steven Tyler!!!

We had a great night in Hollywood with Jennifer Lopez and LOVE was all around. Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood and KIIS FM hosted the rocking party! Gathering 48 hours before hand just to get a glimpse of the talented and beautiful Jennifer Lopez, her fans stood in line wrapping all round the block! Its clear Jenny from the Block has ARRIVED…Hollywood style as she celebrated the release of her new CD entitled LOVE?.

We here at Momz In The Mix, had the extraordinary privilege of attending the release party of Jennifer Lopez’s new album “Love?” and if you thought J.LO was gorgeous on television we can tell you that she is no less than stunning in person.

The event was held at the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Blvd and gave fans the once in a lifetime chance to meet their idol, not to mention be some of the first to hear the music off of her incredible new album. In fact, some of the fans of Ms Jenny From the Block we spoke with were so excited to meet the fashionista, they began lining up a day prior to the actual event.

Although her music was fantastic and one could easily get caught dropping it on the floor while listening to it, the most incredible part of the event was that Jennifer Lopez showed what an incredible and loving human being she just is.
Jennifer, who is the mother of two, took the time to speak with as many fans as she could and she was beyond gracious and kind throughout the entire evening.

But before the party really started poppin’, Jennifer generously donated her beautiful dress worn in her “On the Floor” video to the memorabilia collection at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Needless to say Jennifer Lopez is incredible Mom In The Mix who is taking the world by storm. We love you Jennifer!!!

Call her JLO, Jenny From the Block, Jennifer Lopez, or Mrs Marc Anthony, this mother of two is ruling the pop culture world. Since joining American Idol as a judge the show has really made a substantial turn around. If for nothing else people want to see Jennifer’s hot new look each week (we certainly do) ironically, Jennifer was just quoted saying, “I’m at my happiest when I’m just able to touch my face, rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not have to worry about messing it up! It’s so much better.”

Being one hot American Idol judge and constantly looking fierce are not the only things going on in this diva’s life. Jennifer, 41, also has a hit single out now called “On the Floor” and may just be starting her very own reality show. And if you still need to feed your Jennifer Lopez, Jenny from the black, or JLO addiction make sure to check out her upcoming album entitled “Love?” The future is bright for Jennifer Lopez and we are anxiously awaiting what her next move just might be but until then we can feast our eyes on this gorgeous, fabulous, and most certainly fierce Mom In The Mix.

If you’re just like the millions of fans who tune into American Idol each week to hear the amazingly talented performers, then we’re sure a certain 22 year old, has caught your eye. Ms. Pia Toscano from Howard Beach, NY, continues to grace us with her beauty and vocal talent each week on American Idol. Auditioning for the 10th season of American Idol in New Jersey, she has made it to the top 13 with her strong vocals, and excellent music choices.
MTV.com reports,
“Pia’s got the best set of pipes on the show. Anytime she steps up to the mic and belts out a ballad, she’ll sound great, as was the case during her take on Celine Dion’s version of “All by Myself.”

The Momz, (and we’re sure) the rest of America can’t wait to watch Pia, each week on FOX, go all the way to the top! In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised to find Pia in American Idol’s Top 3…MAYBE even take this year’s title!

Crystal Bowersox – In the Momlight

Momz in the Mix wants to say….. CONGRATULATIONS  CRYSTAL!! Lee DeWyze may have won American Idol on Wednesday’s finale, but both walk away with their lives changed forever. It was a close call with only a mere 2%  difference when all was said and done.

Mama Sox (a single mom) was quoted to say ”I want to make a better life for my son.” American Idol has created that platform for her to continue her dream and make a better life for her and her family.

Crystal, we celebrate and honor you and can’t wait to have you on as a guest with Momz in the Mix.

The show was packed with exciting performances and surprise guests that included Janet Jackson, Joe Cocker and music mom Christina Aguilera. Casey James was joined onstage with rocker Brett Michaels who recently was fighting for his life when he was stricken with a brain hemorrhage. Michaels didn’t inform his doctors that he was making a surprise performance on Idol however, he did say this was the therapy he really needed.

Wednesday also marked the end of Simon Cowell’s 9 years on Idol.

We will miss you Simon.
